Pecan Cinnamon Pie Crust

I promised I would post my pie crust recipes tonight, and I will not let you down!

This crust is great for Pumpkin and Dutch Apple. It works well for uncooked fillings and custard pies too.

Pecan Cinnamon Pie Crust

2 cups pecans, halved

1 stick unsalted butter, soft

2.5 tsp cinnamon (if you are feeling wild, use pumpkin pie spice instead)

4 tsp sugar, or more to taste.

Place nuts in food processor and process until a fine texture is achieved. Add the remaining ingredients until totally incorporated. Pat into lightly buttered glass pie plate and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min. Fill with desired filling and cook accordingly, if needed.
