No I am not referring to the bar trail in Kentucky. I am referring to the fact that I am using bourbon as a staple ingredient in many of my Thanksgiving recipes.
Because it complements the dishes, it compliments the vanilla, which is also a main staple in many of my recipes and because I can cook and drink at the same time without ever having to leave my kitchen.
Talk about convenience.
My main recipe is a Bourbon Cherry Glaze for my Ham. (Recipe to be posted soon). Just think…ham, cherries, maple syrup, bourbon, bacon and cloves, just to name a few key ingredients.
My family is gonna love me.
My thighs are going to hate me.
Thanks goodnesses that we moved into a house with stairs.
