Why just make a Pumpkin Pie and drink Eggnog, when you can…

Make a Pumpkin Eggnog pie?

I mean, really. Why go through all the trouble of doing both when you can put them together and achieve such divine pleasure from one.

I may never eat pumpkin pie or drink eggnog separately again.

Pumpkin Eggnog Pie

Make Pecan Cinnamon Pie Crust

1 can solid pumpkin (not easy pie mix)

1 1/4 cups eggnog (I love our local stores eggnog. It comes in Holiday, Pumpkin or Vanilla. Any flavor works great in this recipe)

2/3 cup sugar

3 eggs, beaten

1.5 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

1/4 teaspoon salt (optional. I don’t like salt)

Combine all ingredients. Pour into the unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375 for 60-65 minutes. Refrigerate until serving.

Easy as…well, pie!
